The real Bodemeister shines on national television
The Triple Crown festivities continued on Wednesday when Bob Baffert was interviewed in ESPN’s Los Angeles studio and brought along his son Bode and friend. The boys took to the set for some sports broadcasting time, and both were naturals. Move over Chris Berman and Kenny Mayne, I think we’ve found your replacements! Later Wednesday, Baffert threw out the honorable first pitch at the Dodgers baseball game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Dodgers went on to win the game 3-1.
Earlier this week, Baffert was live on the Today Show in New York along with the Zayat family and jockey Victor Espinoza, and on Tuesday Bode Baffert found his real love on a live streaming interview with the Weather Channel. Bode will not be following his father as a horse trainer looking to train the next Triple Crown winner, nor will he become an ESPN sports journalist or broadcaster. Bode instead aspires to one day become a meteorologist!
